Toga Performance, Inc. ("Toga," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information from users of the Toga mobile application, our marketing website (togaperformance.com), and related services (the "Services").

1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
- Account details: name, email address, date of birth, gender
- User content: support messages, AI coach interactions, notes, and feedback
- Health and fitness data: athletic goals, training history, injury information
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, app version, language, timezone, device identifiers
- Usage data: screens accessed, feature engagement, timestamps
- Technical data: crash logs, performance metrics, server logs, IP addresses
C. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect services like Strava, Garmin, Apple Health, or COROS, we may receive workout data including GPS location, distance, time, pace, cadence, heart rate, and related statistics, based on the permissions you grant. We do not sell health data collected from these integrations, do not use it for advertising, and do not disclose it to third parties without your consent. We use it only for the purposes described in this policy, including the AI coaching described in Section 3.
D. Website Cookies and Tracking Technologies
On our marketing website, we and our partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies — including the Meta Pixel and PostHog analytics — to collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, links clicked, actions taken (for example, joining a waitlist), referring source, approximate location, and device and browser identifiers. We use this information to understand site usage and to measure and improve our advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Artificial Intelligence
Toga's coaching is generated by artificial intelligence. This section explains what that means for your data.
What AI does in Toga
We use large language models to build your training plan, adjust it week to week based on how your training is going, answer your questions in the coach chat, and summarize your completed workouts. AI does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, and it does not provide medical advice.
What data is processed
To provide these features, the AI processes the training information you give us and the information we collect on your behalf, including:
- Your profile, goals, race schedule, training history, and injury notes
- Activity data from devices and services you connect, such as Garmin, Strava, COROS, and Apple Health, including distance, pace, duration, heart rate, cadence, and related metrics
- Your daily check-ins and your messages to the coach
Who processes it
Our AI features run on Google Gemini models through Google Cloud Platform. Google acts as our service provider and processes your data only on our instructions to deliver Toga's coaching. Your data is not used to train Google's models or ours. We do not sell your training or health data, and we do not share it with any AI provider for that provider's own purposes.
Human review
Members of the Toga team may read coach conversations and AI-generated plans to provide support, check the coach's quality, and test and improve our coaching prompts and logic.
Your consent
Toga is an AI coaching service. By creating an account and using the Services, you consent to the processing of your training information, including data from the devices and services you connect, by our AI coaching systems as described in this section and in our Terms of Service.
Withdrawing consent
You can stop AI processing of a connected device's data at any time by disconnecting that device in Settings. On request, we will delete the activity data we imported from it. You can also delete your account entirely, which removes your data from our systems as described in the Data Retention section. Because Toga's coaching is AI-generated, withdrawing consent for all AI processing means the coaching features will no longer work.
Changes
We will update this section when our AI providers, the data we process, or the applicable laws and partner requirements change, and we will reflect the change in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation.
Limited app install and subscription events may be shared with advertising partners for campaign measurement. Health data and Apple Health data are never shared for advertising purposes.
Our service providers include: Google Cloud Platform, Render, Expo Application Services, Apple, Intercom, PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat, Meta, Loops, and Terra.
5. Apple Health Data
Apple Health data is accessed exclusively for the purpose of providing fitness and coaching features within the app. This data is never used for advertising, marketing, or shared with data brokers.
6. Advertising and Measurement
We run advertising campaigns on platforms including Meta to promote the Toga app. In-app events such as installs, registration, and subscription activity may be shared for campaign effectiveness measurement.
We do not share health, fitness, injury, or Apple Health data with advertising partners. We do not collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
On our marketing website, we use the Meta Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta. The Meta Pixel collects information about your interactions with the site — such as pages you visit and actions like joining a waitlist — and shares this information with Meta to measure ad performance, optimize ad delivery, and show relevant ads (including retargeting). If you have a Meta account, Meta may associate this activity with it. To learn more, see Meta's Privacy Policy. You can manage your ad preferences in your Meta account settings and control or block cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information as necessary for service provision, account maintenance, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and agreement enforcement. Backup copies may be retained for a limited period.
8. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Account Controls
You may request:
- Access to your personal information
- Deletion of your account and data
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of activity data imported from a connected device
You can stop AI processing of a connected device's data at any time by disconnecting that device in Settings.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding targeted advertising and data sharing. Contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will provide additional notification.
